Human Pluripotency Is Initiated and Preserved by a Unique Subset of Founder Cells

panCELLa’s President and CSO, Dr. Andras Nagy, is co-author of a recent paper that appears in CELL detailing the finding of “pluripotent founder cells” (PFCs) or “Kingpin” cells in a study headed by Dr. Mio Nakanishi at the Stem Cell and Cancer Research Institute (McMaster University, Hamilton) .  The study was a collaboration between Harvard University (United States), McMaster University (Hamilton, ON), Monash University (Australia); and Sinai Health System (Toronto, ON).
